MERV = 'Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value' this is used to rate the overall effectiveness of an Air Filter. Below you will find a table that measures the MERV strength and tells you the Application of each unit's effectiveness. A filter that fits!
I've made the mistake of purchasing other brand filters, only to find they don't correctly fit the opening in the air return. These filters are a good value I wouldn't purchase anything else.

A filter that fits!
