The HPA 300 uses 3 HEPA filters and one sheet of the Prefilter fits well and requires no trimming! That's a positive thing and I will use the HPA 300 from now on, as long as they perform as long as the 200 series machines.

Allergy control

The REAL DEAL!

I've ordered filters from other sellers that say they fit much Honeywell purifiers, but they either didn't fit correctly or had an odd odor to them. These fit correctly and have no odor. A very small gripe is that they come folded in half, and will bulge unless you find a way to correct it. Don't get the cheap stuff, you get what you pay for.

These pre-cut carbon Air Purifier pre-filters work great. I run my Purifier 24-7, and each filter will last at least 3 months. Although I have allergies and mild asthma, I have not been very diligent about changing my filters, nor was I consistent about using my air purifier over the years. This past summer, I began to run my filter in the bedroom every night. For the past couple of months, I noticed that the air in the bedroom smelled stale despite running the filter nightly. A few weeks ago, the red “check pre-filter” light on the air purifier came on. I vacuumed the pre-filter, which was caked with dust, until my new pre-filter arrived which did not help with the stale air. We have forced hot air heat so dust is a constant problem. Thankfully, the replacement filter arrived quickly. I changed it and ran the unit. Within an hour, the air no longer smelled stale. I'm eagerly waiting for the HEPA filters to come back in stock so I can replace them too. I highly recommend!

Super helpful with wool carpet!

I have a wool carpet which naturally sheds a bit. The air purifier picks all those little strands up! Also great for cat hair. And general dust management. I am very satisfied with this product : only thing is that sometimes finding the filters can be challenging but hey, you have a year for those. Delivery exactly as they said

With fire season here in the west, it's important to have air filters. Honeywell Doctor's Choice is the best. It has carbon filters, then HEPA filters. Because of demand, I had to get pay for the filters in advance, and wait. Honeywell was clear, and delivered within the time they said. I waited far longer for the HEPA filters than the carbon filters, but they did fulfill their promises.

These filters are exactly what the doctor ordered. Open the resealable plastic bag containing 4 pre-cut filters, remove one, and install it behind the tabs. No tracing. No cutting. The whole operation takes 30 seconds. My only complaint is they do not ship to Canada. A friend had to forward them to me.

Prefilter for air purifier

My only complaint would be that they were folded in the package so there was a wrinkle/crease across the middle. After smoothing it for a while the crease flattened and they did fit as they should. I will buy again.

The HRF-A300 pre-filters are designed and cut to fit perfectly, match the characteristics of the HPA-300, and extend to one year the life of the companion HEPA filter--the workhorse. Pre-filters are easy to replace and very effective. Cheaper filters are available, however HRF-A300s better effectiveness with a perfect match to the system is worth the added expense.

I've used this filter material before, but not the pre-cut ones. I'm thinking this must be a relatively new product. These filters are much easier to use than the ones you have to cut out yourself, and so I expect to keep ordering them.

HRF-A300 Pre-Cut Carbon filters

Better than the pre-filters sold on-line or at the big-box stores. Tried the cut-your-own, but they are more porous than the original and dont work as well. Which means your HEPA filter doesnt last as designed.

I've seen cheaper versions of this product elsewhere that you actually have to cut with sizzors! These are pre cut, and the only replacement you want to use! Honeywell suggests 4 last a year... 4 may last you over 2 years depending on placement!

Conquers dust

I bought the Honeywell Air Purifier because I have a dust allergy and, after moving many boxes out of storage, the dust in my new apartment was overwhelming.
