Impact Sport Bolt Digital Electronic Earmuff
Howard Leight Impact Pro Sound Amplification Electronic Earmuffs were designed for handgun and pistol shooters looking for maximum hearing protection. These earmuffs carry a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 30 in both on and off mode. When the electronic ear protection is switched on, these earmuffs employ built-in directional microphones that amplify range commands and other ambient sounds to a safe 82 dB, providing more natural listening and enhanced communication. As an added safety feature, Honeywell Earmuffs also actively listen and automatically shut off amplification when loud impulsive sounds like firearm discharges reach 82 dB. Padded headband features telescopic height adjustment for a comfortable, customized fit. Rubberized pressure points prevent gunstock scratching. An external audio jack lets you connect the earmuffs to an MP3 player, scanner or other audio source. The automatic shut-off function after 4 hours helps extend battery life. Protect yourself against hazardous gunfire noise without being left in silence.
Instant Protection
Digital compression circuitry delivers a lightning fast .5 millisecond attack time (the interval between when a shot is fired and when the earmuff reacts) that lowers the sound to a safe sub 82 dB level. This is 250x faster than our classic Impact Sport Earmuff.
Uninterrupted Hearing
The .5 millisecond attack time also eliminates sound-clipping (the inadvertent blocking of ambient sound after a gunshot). This is crucial for a busy range or class environment where hearing commands is important for safety and/or learning.
Designed for Shooting
Low-profile earcup, recessed controls and a rifle-cutaway design allow for a tight gunstock cheek weld that won't disrupt the seal of the ear cushion, while allowing better intuitive sighted and unsighted fire.
Engineered for Hunting
Recessed microphones reduce wind noise and amplify quiet sounds like animal noises up to 5x. The microphones are also directional, which let you know where the sound is coming from. This is an essential feature for tracking prey, and an added safety enhancement for the range.
Headphone Functionality
AUX input and 3.5 mm connection cord allows you to connect to an external MP3 player, scanner or other audio device.

Just what I needed.

Impact Pro headphones
I have a pair that is 8 years old. These absolutely work. I can hear other sound, such as voices, even better than normal, but all sounds such as gunfire, a high speed blender, etc. is just a background noise. Can't imagine anyone making anything better.

Great buy highly recommend
The earmuffs exceeds our expectations on quite in a very noisy environment or on the range. Still being able to have a conversation while they are on is great for our team. We would recommend our associates. They do take up space if you're looking four a small footprint.
