We have the bay on two sides of us and a marsh on the third. We go through dehumidifiers like water. This is the best one we have had. More capacity than the 30 pints, but still easy to carry the bucket. Just as important, it is the quietest one we have ever had. Getting ready to purchase a second one.
My wife and I built a she shed in the backyard and closed in and sheet rocked the area above our garage. We used foam insulation and the structures are kind of unable to breathe. We had a major mold problem in both areas. We bought the Honeywell dehumidifiers for each area. The area above the garage uses the 70 pint humidifier with the tubing to dump into a Home Depot bucket. We bought the 40 pint one for the she shed and it works perfectly. I highly rate both of these products. Quiet, reliable, and very easy to program. Each has many safety features to keep from having water spillage.
