The Honeywell CG512A1009 Medium Thermostat Guard provides the ideal defense in preventing others from tampering with your heating and cooling options. Installation is near effortless and the Guard will fit on all Medium Sized (6 1/16" W x 5 1/16" H x 2 5/8" D or smaller) Honeywell thermostats and a host of others. A steadily constructed key and lock function will perform admirably as a versatile defense.

Good product, I would purchase these again.
Does what it is supposed to, and works fine. The front cover can come completely off, so when unlocking the cover, it can easily fall on the ground getting scratched since there is no hinge to hold it up. A hinge would be better and make this easier to use. Also this really needs a back plate so you can mount it on top of an electrical box between the box and the thermostat. We cut a piece of flat plastic and made our own, and then just drilled holes.
This thing is really worthy, easy to set up and it indeed prevents tampering!
