VOC Sensor and Air Quality Indicator
This large room air purifier is equipped with a VOC Sensor that detects the level of VOCs in a room while providing an easy to read visual display to indicate air quality. The Air Quality Indicator is located on the InSight™ Display (only available in the HPA5200, HPA5250, HPA5300 and HPA5350 Series). The VOC Sensor is constantly monitoring the surrounding air. The Air Quality Indicator light will illuminate either green, yellow, or red depending on the level of VOCs detected in the room:

Green - Good Air Quality: There is a very low level of VOCs in the surrounding area.

A+ Genuine Pre-Filter or A Pre-Cut Pre-filter
This home air purifier works with a Honeywell A Pre-Cut Pre-filter or A+ Pre-Filter. The Pre-Filter is the first level of filtration and helps capture large particles such as dust, lint, fibers and pet fur and helps to reduce VOCs & odors from cooking, smoke, bathrooms and pets. This filter should be replaced every 3 months. The filter check/reset light will remind you when it's time to change your filter. Initial filter included. To ensure stated product performance, use only genuine and certified Honeywell replacement filters.
R Certified True HEPA Filter
The Certified Honeywell True HEPA R Replacement Filter helps capture up to 99.97% of microscopic allergens, 0.3 microns & larger from any air passing through the filter. For optimal cleaning performance, replace your HEPA filter every 12 months. The filter check/reset light on the HPA5200 Air Cleaner will remind you when it's time to change your filter. Initial filter included.
AHAM Verifide
This hepa air purifier is AHAM (Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers) Verifide meaning that it has been independently tested to ensure its efficiency in reducing smoke, dust and pollen in the suggested room size. The AHAM assigns a CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) Rating that measures the volume of filtered air delivered by an air cleaner. I just bought this air purifier and I never felt so much fresh air in my life. I'm satisfied with my purchase.
This is a an extremely nice air purifier, and does the job for the appropriate sized room. I mainly use it in auto, and have added the additional two S filter and just ordered the A+. This is a great buy. I need to find out form Honywell if auto turns off if air quality justifies it. I sprayed a small amount of alcohol in the room and not too close to the HPA5200B, it automatically detected it quickly and ramped up to clear the air.
Purchased this unit after having been completely satified wiht the HPA5300B and Satisfied with the HPA5100B for the purposes that they served. The HPA5200B is excellent. It is quiet, and I was shocked when after using the unit on the Low setting overnight then switching to the Auto setting, the unit lit up RED!. I'm now just keeping the unit on Auto and letting it test the air every half hour or whatever schedule it is on. Annual Filter Kits are available from Honeywell.
Works great. It is almost silent and the lights can be turned off to darken the room.

I purchased this after reading reviews and speaking with friends who made purchases of Air Purifiers and I was pleased as I opened the box and saw this product. Instructions were clear, easy to follow so I moved it into the living room, and even though it is large, it is unobtrusive as it sits near a rocking chair. I tried it out and it is very quiet. I hope we do not have the air pollution we had last summer with fires but if we do I am prepared. My husband and I also have allergies so running the purifier in the morning helps reduct our symptoms. Very pleased with the purchase and the operation of the Air Purifier.
I was skeptical that an air purifier could eliminate the smoke that was getting inside from a nearby wood stove but this Honeywell model did! I cant recommend it highly enough.
