Convenience has been assured with the inclusion of a system that allows for multiple ways of refilling. The addition of an Adjustable LED Humidistat will provide owners an accurate measure of the surrounding levels of humidity. A Filter Check Light, Refill and Humidity Reached Light offer owners the visual cues needed for optimal efficiency. The inclusion of an Auto Shut-Off feature solidifies efficiency as it will remind owners when it's time to refill their humidifier. This top fill humidifier features a 1.5 gallon capacity that's capable of running up to 24 hours. The Honeywell Top Fill Cool Moisture Tower Humidifier is available in black or white. This cool moisture humidifier works with Honeywell Replacement Filter T. Designed for optimal moisture output and inhibiting up to 99.99% of mold growth on the filter, this Genuine Honeywell Humidifier Wicking Filter captures minerals from the water and helps prevent the buildup of white dust. The updated version of the Honeywell Replacement Filter T features a blue pre-filter layer that helps capture large airborne particles from the air that passes through the filter.
Protec Antimicrobial Cleaning Cartridge
The Honeywell Cool Moisture Humidifier Tower can also use Protec Humidifier Cleaning Balls. Protec Antimicrobial Cleaning Cartridges feature a patented antimicrobial, Aquastat that continuously works to hinder the growth of bacteria and mold. They're also capable of preventing the buildup of slime in the water and humidifier surfaces. Protec Antimicrobial Cleaning Cartridges work in all humidifiers and are safe/non-toxic. Aquastat contains no harsh chemicals or harsh acids making the cleaning action just as gentle as water on your humidifier surfaces and components.
- Choose a Location: Place the humidifier on a flat, water-resistant surface at least 12 in. away from the wall.
- Remove Tape: Take off any tape that was holding the parts together during shipping.
- Fill with Water: Fill the humidifier with water. (Note: Some models like the HEV615, HEV620, and HUL570 require you to install the float paddle first.)
- Plug In and Turn On: Plug the humidifier into a power outlet and turn it on.
Additional Tips:
- Wet the Wick: If you have an evaporative cool moisture humidifier, wet the wick before using it for faster humidification.
- Warm Mist Wait Time: Warm mist humidifiers may take a minute or more to start producing steam as the water heats up.
- Ultrasonic Humidifier Tip: To prevent mist from settling on the floor, place ultrasonic cool mist humidifiers on a table or shelf.

We are very pleased with our purchase, simple to set up and quiet.
First Thing - an easy-to-fill, large capacity tank. Great - one or two days, or more before filling the tank. Second Thing - easy to set, accurate humidity percentage. Third Thing - relatively quiet, especially on low setting.
It helps usme and wife breathe better while sleeping at night. Usually our mouth dries and we have to get up and drink h20 in the middle of the night, not anymore. Glad we visited our daughter who has one.
This works very well and pretty quiet
All is working well, but I just got this a few weeks ago.
The bad news is on High, this is a VERY noisy product. I have my humidifier over 15 from my usual sofa spot and when it is on High, I have to crank up the tv to 3-4 times it's usual volume to hear it over the humidifier. I wish this was an exaggeration. The good news is, after the initial week or so to build up the humidity in the house, and determine a permanent setting, it is only necessary to run it on Low or Medium, which, although not whisper-quiet, are much quieter settings. I also now know that I prefer visible mist to invisible moisture -- not that this type is bad, just a personal preference. I do VERY MUCH like the top-fill option, which was my main reason for purchasing it. I will continue to this humidifier until some company makes a whisper-quiet, top-fill, cool mist model.

I purchased the HEV615BV1 in May of 2019. The unit was wonderful when the heating season in Wisconsin came. When the 2020 heating season came it for for a few weeks and then nothing. Refill light was on but it didnt need water. Unplugged it to reset it and when I plugged it back in there were no lights. Tried a different outlet and nothing. I emailed the company and after a few emails back and forth, they decided to send me a new unit. I received that within 3 days of the email, and on a Sunday! I love the unit and am now a fan of the company. FANTASTIC customer service!!!!

I found one of these on sale at Walmart. I was tired of the small humidifiers that always seem to work for a while then stop. This Honeywell has been awesome. Keeps our large master bedroom well humidified and has been working for months. Might even get another for upstairs.
